Youth Director, Thom Schuyler migrated to Nashville from his native Pennsylvania in 1978 to pursue a career as a songwriter. Thirty years later he has compiled a repertoire of songs including 5 that attained #1 status, 5 that peaked at #2 on the charts and another 5 that reached the Top-Ten. Among the songs Thom composed are "Love Will Turn You Around" by Kenny Rogers, "I Fell in Love Again Last Night" by The Forester Sisters, "A Long Line of Love" by Michael Martin Murphy and the recently-named "Official Anthem of Music Row," "16th Avenue," recorded by Lacy J. Dalton. Thom has served as both President and Chairman of the Country Music Association, was a 3-term President of the Nashville Songwriters Association, long-term Chairman of the Nashville Songwriters Foundation and ran the Nashville division of RCA during which time he signed artists Kenny Chesney, Lone Star, Mindy McCready, Sarah Evans and directed the on-going careers of Alabama, Clint Black and Martina McBride. He and his wife of 30 years, Sarah, have 3 children - Tallu, Roy and Luke - all in various stages of higher education.
